Thank god it’s Friday! In my world, that means it’s time to round up all the new movie trailers and TV show teasers headed to streaming platforms.
This week we’ve got a trailer for Gary Oldman’s upcoming Netflix biopic directed by David Fincher, a teaser for season 5 of The Expanse, and our first look at an incoming anime from the makers of Castlevania. These, and many more streaming trailers, are lined up for you to watch this week. Take a look.

Academy Award winner Gary Oldman plays alcoholic Citizen Kane screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz in this new movie on Netflix. The biopic is set in the Hollywood of the 1930s and is the directorial venture of David Fincher (Fight Club, Se7en, Mindhunters, House Of Cards). In black and white tones, the trailer is reminiscent of classic Hollywood cinema, and Fincher seems to be gunning for an Oscar-worthy title here. I have high expectations for this one. Here’s hoping it doesn’t disappoint.
The Expanse (season 5)
Amazon Prime Video revealed the first trailer for season 5 of its long-running sci-fi series — The Expanse — at the New York Comic Con this week. In this season, The Belt’s future begins as Marco Inaros wages Armageddon against the Inners for years of oppression and injustice. If you haven’t seen the TV show yet, you have till December 16 to catch up before the new season begins.
What The Constitution Means To Me
Heidi Schreck’s highly acclaimed Broadway play comes to Amazon Prime Video this October. The trailer shows glimpses of the play filmed during its run at the Hayes Theater in New York. Schreck is not just the playwright but also the star of the show. She takes us through her journey of winning constitutional debate competitions across the US. Schreck was one of the best debaters on the topic, so much so that she funded her college education with her wins. The play also won her a finalist position for the prestigious Pulitzer Prize. Check out the trailer below.
HBO Max released a new movie trailer for The Witches late last week, but its stellar cast, including Anne Hathaway and Octavia Spencer, earns it a mention on our latest trailer roundup. Based on the dark fantasy novel by the British writer Roald Dahl, the film tells the story of how a young boy stumbles upon a secret coven of witches who hate children. The movie is skipping theaters to hit HBO Max directly on October 22, just in time for Halloween.

Grand Army is an upcoming Netflix TV show that follows the chaotic lives of five Brooklyn public school students as they struggle to survive, succeed, break barriers, and wild out. Reviewers are calling the show a grim watch so proceed with caution if you’re looking for something lighthearted to stream. Here’s the trailer to give you a taste of what to expect.
My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman (season 3)
David Letterman returns to Netflix for a third season of his celebrity interview show. The trailer for the new season has Letterman sitting across celebs that need “no introduction,” like Robert Downey Jr., Kim Kardashian, Dave Chappelle, and Lizzo.
Blood Of Zeus
From the creators of Netflix’s hit anime Castlevania, comes this new trailer for Blood Of Zeus. The anime-style web series is set in the world of Greek mythology and revolves around the story of Heron, the son of Zeus, and his mission to save the world from a demonic army.
